The employment practice group provides both preventive and remedial consultation, as well as representation in connection with grievance procedures, city, state and federal administrative proceedings and in state and federal court litigation. Our clients include both employers and employees. Preventive services include negotiation and drafting of employment contracts, review and formulation of personnel policies and procedures, drafting and review of personnel manuals, workers' compensation non-subscriber issues and education of management and employees regarding the requirements imposed by state and federal law. Our litigation practice includes representation of employers and employees before state and federal regulatory agencies, as well as the defense and prosecution of wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation and whistleblower claims in both state and federal courts.
