Mary L. Dale is a attorney who has practiced primarily in the area of commercial litigation. Ms. Dale has experience handling all stages of litigation including pre-trial and post-trial matters concerning commercial landlord/tenant matters, employment related issues, partnership disagreements, and business and governmental contractual disputes.  Ms. Dale also has experience in business related transactional matters. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Dale was an enlisted soldier in the United States Army, was later commissioned as an officer, and eventually achieved the rank of Captain.  She also worked for a Fortune 100 company prior to attending law school.

Recent Experience and Accomplishments

  • Assisted in successfully pursuing and obtaining a dismissal of an opposing party’s bankruptcy action; which allowed the client to continue use of its land and improvements.
  • Second-chaired several trials involving commercial landlords and tenants concerning matters ranging from non-payment of rent, water intrusion, liquor license issues, trade fixture disputes, and premises liability issues.    
  • Assisted in preparing, pursuing, and obtaining a prejudgment writ of garnishment in favor of a national bank pursuing payment on a promissory note for a large sum of money.
  • Successfully prepared, argued, and obtained a Temporary Restraining Order to prevent wrongful removal of a landowner’s property.   
  • Assisted in the representation of homeowners pursuing legal remedies related to breach of warranties, fraudulent concealment, violations of Homeowner Association rules, and deceptive trade practices.
  • Began working as a Legal Specialist upon joining the military in 1989.
  • Successfully coordinated all logistics while on a six month deployment into a combat zone.
