Experience and Accomplishments

  • Represented numerous banks in the South Texas area in lender liability litigation
  • Turned a several hundred thousand dollar lender liability lawsuit against a bank client into a $150,000.00 recovery for the bank
  • Obtained a partial summary judgment for a national manufacturing company wherein the Plaintiff was seeking in excess of six million dollars as damages with regard to the Plaintiff's claims for negligence, fraud, violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices and tortuous interference
  • Represented clients in a variety of business and real estate matters
  • Provided legal counsel to various purchasers, sellers and entities regarding the formation and maintenance of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies
  • Obtained a summary judgment on behalf of an employer in age and race discrimination lawsuit
  • Represented various homeowners associations in enforcing deed restrictions within subdivisions
  • Obtained a summary judgment for an engineering company wherein the Plaintiff was alleging damages resulting from an alleged defective design
